does any1 else think that we dont need celebs people now days are always wanting to know more and more about them like if britney spears is getting her kids back or if lindsay lohan is going back to rehab…i think it all just needs to end they are just people like all of us and i think there should be at least a law banning all fotogs if i was a celeb i would be scared all the time cuz of poeple hiding in the bushes or following me…i just wanna know why people are so obsessed with celebs its not like they are any better than us they are just people who have a really good job that pays alot more than most and just so happen to be pretty can some1 just explain why this world has turned to madness!!!!!!!!!!!!!cuz if it dont change soon we are all in for alot of trouble

I definetly agree, it is not fair for them and we are disrespecting their privacy. We don’t need to see Britney’s custody battle or Lohan’s rehab stint, it is just degrading. I hate watching something like TMZ going around catching celebs doing something embarassing and displaying for the whole world to see. It is mean and immoral, and i don’t see why people would need to know what shampoo they buy or which guy Paris Hilton is bangin’. The media makes a living of ticking off celebs to get a reaction and it’s disgusting. I have no idea why people are obsessed with celebs and i think we will be headng for trouble. Hope this helps.

I’m guessing that everyone out there has at least ONE celebrity they aren’t crazy about. Well, no matter who that person is, I was thinking that we could all ban together and (without saying the names of the celebs we don’t like as to not make anyone mad) come up with some ideas on how to make the celebrities we don’t like un-famous.
Here are my ideas:
1. do not buy ANY merchandise of theirs.
2. do not watch their show if they have one
3. do not watch talk shows that they guest star on
4. do not look up their videos on youtube even to leave bad comments — it only gets them more views!
5. do not buy their music on iTunes or their CDs in the stores if they make music
6. tell others that you know that like this celebrity the reasons you do NOT like this celebrity and try to convince them to come over to your side. HOWEVER, make sure you do not go with the “go up to them and tell them how stupid they are for liking the celebrity and how ugly the celeb is and such” method. first of all I hope you have a better reason for not liking this person than thinking they’re ugly, and second, no one wants to listen to what you have to say if you come off in that manner. just say something like “hey i know u like _____ _____ but i was just wondering if you’d mind if i shared with you why i DON’T like them.” coming off in a civilized manner is ALWAYS better than the screaming method.
7. do not make hate sites about the celeb. it only shows how immature you are and by making a hate site (or hate youtube, hate myspace, etc.) you are really only making the celeb MORE popular, and if we wanna dethrone them of their famous-state, we have to stop giving them more internet search results (which is another reason it’d be a good idea not to put the name of the celeb you don’t like on here).

Okay for example look at Adriana Lima or Megan Fox,they are EXTREMELY Beautiful but their beauty is not natural,,When they are on ads,photo shoots ,whatever……..they have professional makeup artists, hairdressers, outfits,shoes,Accessories, EVERYTHING To make them look THAT good
But look at their picture without any makeup/hair-does/accessories/nice clothes (not ” Without makeup ” pictures that DO have makeup and stuff……..I mean pictures before they were famous that means they didn’t had any makeup going on….they were /are still beautiful………..They look GORGEOUS in those ads and photo shoots but without anything they still have Beautiful faces
So practically I have realized that EVERY Girl you see on the street (Majority wear very little makeup or no makeup at all) is beautiful and when you compare them with these SUPER HOT celebs without makeup…these girls are NOT less attractive then them in anyway.
Pick up a girl from the street and give her a personal makeup artist, $ $ $ expensive makeup….expensive clothes Accessories I mean EVERYTHING to make them look good…..there you get that each and every girl looks THAT good
So basically I want to say natural beauty means having great skin and hair ,right?
Other then that, EVERY Girl is naturally as beautiful as any other ”hot” celebrity is
So why do girls look at ads/magazines and say ”ah! I don’t like a VS Model/A celebrity”….Why are girls so insecure seeing other women all dolled up? Just wipe that makeup from those celebrities faces, make their hair plain, dress them up in normal clothes and there you get…they look just like you girls…..just make sure you take care of your hair and skin,and your confident You DON’T need to do anything else 
Im a guy ,whenever I see a girl with ANY makeup I start thinking ”she go too much makeup on” but whenever I see a laid back girl who takes the time to take care of her skin and hair and does not do anything with her body, I think ” OMG She’s soooooo Pretty” Do you think am right?

The society we live in sickens me. More and more each day i feel very dissapointed in the fact
that we, as people, call others ugly if they do not have on tons of make up, fit into a size 2,
or have no flaws in their skin. When, we all know, that the celebs spend basically their whole
career and lives making themselves look ‘perfect’ with sugery, photoshop, and an average
citizens pay check on one item. Just last week i overheard a girl saying, “If she lost some
weight and wore more makeup she would be pretty.” WHO ARE YOU TO SAY SHE IS NOT
PRETTY AS SHE IS?!? I, for one, adore the natural look with mineral powder and clear
mascara. Why is it that we no longer value the beauty we were born with? Have magazines,
tv, and the internet told us that we are not good enough without their advertisement
driven products?!
Am i the only one who feels this way? I feel sick to live in a
society driven by the image of perfection. How do you ‘get out’ or as far away as possible?

This week I saw a couple of commercials for Access Hollywood and I’ve had enough. First, I saw a clip somewhere about Paris Hilton’s car running out of gas and some cameraman gave her gas or something… Okay… Who cares?
I have been tolerant before of annoying paparazzi photos and rumors, but after seeing a commercial for Tori Spellings Ultrasound for her baby I can’t take it anymore… Who gives a **** about her stupid x-ray picture of her unborn baby??? Honestly, who cares about celebrity gossip here? Who honestly needs to know which celebs broke up with who, which celebrity gained weight, or who ran out of gas one night?? Do you people gather around at work or school and are like “Hey, did you see Tori Spelling’s ultrasound? Cute huh?” Seriously…
Whose life is affected knowing this useless crap. There is alot more important things going on in this world. Let celebs live there life, cuz no one cares what they do. There needs to be a law banning paparazzi.

Responding defiantly to the passage of California’s Proposition 8, the Grammy-winning singer-songwriter suggested in a blog post on The Daily Beast that she will not pay her state taxes in protest of the gay-marriage ban, People reports.
Etheridge writes that if she’s not “allowed the same right [to marry] under the state constitution as any other citizen … I am taking that to mean I do not have to pay my state taxes, because I am not a full citizen.”
Etheridge announced in October that she and longtime partner Tammy Lynn Michaels intended to legally marry after a California Supreme Court decision allowed for same-sex marriage. (The couple exchanged vows at a commitment ceremony in Malibu in 2003.) As such, she joined celebs like Brad Pitt, Ellen DeGeneres and Mary J. Blige in opposing the constitutional amendment to overturn the court’s ruling.
Now that the amendment has passed, Etheridge may have missed her chance, and hundreds of gay couples, including George Takei and Brad Altman and DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi, could have their unions retroactively invalidated.
Despite the temporary setback, Etheridge, a long time gay-rights activist, seems prepared to continue the fight. “Gay people are born everyday,” she writes. “You will never legislate that away.”

Good for her! Maybe I shouldn’t pay my taxes since I’m not a full citizen of this country either. California is in debt anyway. Maybe half of the state should stop paying their taxes. That will make them think twice.

Ok, I have one of those faces that are just really difficult to find sunnies that suit. I’ve discovered however that ray ban sunnies suit me (the style that all the celebs are wearing such as shown here http://pub.tv2.no/multimedia/na/archive/00309/Ray_Ban_wayfarer__s_309324x.jpg). Except Ray Ban sunnies in Australia cost about $ 400 which I don’t have to burn. Today I was at this Sunday market and found authentic vintage Ray Ban’s in this style. Good condition and with case and paid $ 75. I was really happy and when I showed my sister (and I respect her opinion) she was confused on why I spent $ 75. She says they’re nice and knows they’re real but still said this and now I feel bummed… I guess I’m just looking for reassurance here but does anyone actually think I did well or would they agree with my sister?
